Wilderness Medicine Workshop
Coming to OTL! Free to all Pomona Students Ever wonder what you'd do if a friend became injured out in the backcountry? The Wilderness Medicine Workshop will introduce you to the concepts of providing basic medical care for injured persons in remote locations. This one-day Workshop will provide an overview of patient assessment, critical system problems such as shock, anaphylaxis, and soft tissue injuries. CPR instruction for adult patients is also included, with certification provided by Wilderness Medical Associates. Join us! Note: When you complete this course, your name will be included in the College’s First Responder team.
