We have an amazing event taking place at the Claremont Colleges this Thursday, Sept 27 from 11-2.
"Earth to Claremont" is a consortium-wide environmental fair showcasing the many and diverse environmental initiatives underway across our campuses.
Part poster session, part celebration, this outdoor event will take place on the lawns east of Hixon Courtyard in the middle of Harvey Mudd campus, with a live band and a barbecue. The first event of its kind, Earth to Claremont is co-sponsored by the Center for Environmental Studies at Harvey Mudd, the Environmental Analysis Program at Pomona, the Environmental Studies Field Group at Pitzer, and the Roberts Environmental Center at Claremont McKenna.
We will have over 45 booths featuring research, student groups, extracurricular activities, community organizations, and other initiatives. Come to share ideas and learn about the remarkable array of opportunities for incorporating environmental considerations into your intellectual, professional, and life pursuits.
I hope you can join us!
With best regards,
Prof. Paul Steinberg
Director, Center for Environmental Studies
