We are heading up to either the Wilderness Park or Ice House Canyon (TBD day of) on Friday with our Edible Plants guide and Audobon guidebook. Basically we want to 1) learn more about edible plants in the area, 2) harken back to the primal joy of collecting your own food and 3) bask in the beauty of the front range.
Hopefully we will have a bountiful harvest.
call me if you're interested!
p.s. I have consulted some experts and the only dangerous plant out there is Jimson, which is easily identifiable and is basically just a hallucuinogenic. So no worries about pulling an "into the wild" tragedy.
